How it works
How much can I save?

How much can I save…

With YND you can save up to 68 percent on domestic calls, and save up to 93 percent on international calls!

Doemstic Calls

A very convenient feature of YND is that you can use it for domestic phone calls as well as international calls, and save money on both!

Although most cellular phone services offer an optional low calling rate package, most low rate calling plans require the user to pay a minimum each month that is usually not very cheap.

The general trend is, the higher the minimum fee, the lower your rate becomes. But for the average user this is not very cost efficient.

For example, although, DoCoMo’s “Business plan” has a rate between 10-27 yen minute, it also requires the user to pay a minimum amount of 10.290 yen a month. But only half of this will actually be reimbursed in calling time. So unless you use your mobile phone constantly, this is not very economical, so most average callers opt for a different calling plan.

On the other hand, DoCoMo’s “Mova”plan B monthly package only requires the user to pay a minimum of 3500 yen a month, but the rate between mobile phones is 56yen per minute! Using DoCoMo’s plan B for 3hours in 1 month would amount to a bill of 13,615 yen!

Using Vodafone’s “Value Pack”, the charge is 40yen a minute between cell phones.
Calling to a LAN phone is 40yen per minute. Using this plan for 3 hours in 1 month, your bill would amount to 9555 yen.

au’s “Komi, Komi Call L” monthly pack charge between cell phones is 30yen a minute.
Using this package 3 hours a month would be an 8610yen bill.

For three hours of calling time domestic or international, YND would only charge 3780yen (including tax)! Do the math!

International Calls:

Calling to the US , Korea or China can be somewhat of a hassle sometimes even when using a service like Brastel, which is widely recognized as the most popular international calling service among private users in Japan !

When using Brastel, the user is required to enter an access number printed on the back of the card. This requires a bit of patience, as there are a total of 19 digits altogether that must be entered with the correct sequence and order before the caller is able to dial the destination number. –Miss one digit and you are back to step one again! (This is for Brastel cards that are not registered to the caller's phone.)

This system is still widely used among international calling services such as KDDI

With YND, this whole process can be omitted! -Dial 00744 before the number you want to call, and you're ready to go!

Apart from the fact that YND makes a big difference in calling time, YND's cell phone to cell phone rate is cheaper than all international mobile-to-mobile rates from Brastel! Not to mention other calling services such as G-call, IsCard, KDDI, AU, Docomo and Viva Plus.

For example, 1000 yen worth of calling time from Brastel would change drastically depending on your destination. For example, calling a cell phone in UK from your cell phone in Japan , you would be able to call for only 25 minutes! To a cell phone in Brazil you would be able to talk for 22.2 minutes! Calling to a mobile phone in China with 1000 yen worth of Brastel credits would buy you only about 39 minutes of calling time. And to call Korea with 1000 yen worth of Brastel credits would buy you a little over half an hour. To call the US with 1000 yen worth of credits from Brastel would be about 42 minutes of calling time.

Using YND, for 1000 yen you can call for 50 minutes to any type of phone in any place of the world!
